Coastal Caring Clowns Inc is the only organisation in Queensland that prepares volunteers to undertake hospital clowning. The Clowns are coached in Clown Ethics, Hospital Visit Guidelines and Aged Care Visit Guidelines. The Coastal Caring Clown group prides itself on its teamwork and professionalism, cemented by more than twenty years of clown volunteering experience on the Sunshine Coast. Regular meetings, workshops and Lead Clown mentoring are part of the experience for new Clowns. There is emphasis placed on the caring aspect of the role.
