ANZAC Day Services by the ANZAC Sub-Committee

The BWMCA and the ANZAC Sub-Committee are excited to present ANZAC Day Services.

Schedule of Events

  • The day begins with a poignant dawn service at Buderim Village Park, which offers stunning views of the Sunshine Coast and its beaches.

  • Following the service, local schools and community groups will take part in the Buderim Street Parade along Burnett Street and Main Street, concluding at the oval of Buderim Mountain State School.

  • The main service is dedicated to honouring the service men and women who have served Australia and her Allies.

After the service, please join us for a complimentary morning tea at the Buderim Memorial Community Hall.

  • A Scenic Moving Service along the Coast

    Located at the Buderim Village Park, Cnr King & Church Streets, Buderim.

    Experience a moving service that offers stunning views of the beaches stretching from Buddina to Caloundra. This service begins just before dawn and wraps up as the sun gently rising on the horizon.

    Breakfast with the Lions Club

    Following the service, the Lions Club hosts a breakfast at Middy’s car park starting at 5:00 a.m.

  • The Lions Club of Buderim Hosts a Community Breakfast

    The Lions Club of Buderim organizes a delightful breakfast for the community from the Middy’s car park, beginning at 5:00 a.m.


    All proceeds from this stand contribute to fundraising efforts for the Buderim Lions Club, which are then allocated to support the community.

  • Join us for our ANZAC Day commenorative march featuring Veterans, Military personnel, the Lighthorse Brigade, local school bands, and community groups as they proudly parade down Burnett Street. The procession will pause to salute the flag at the Buderim Community Centre before continuing to Buderim Mountain State School.

    • Start Time: 8:30 a.m.

    • Location: Begins at the Woolworths Metro car park

    • Ends at: The Primary School for the main service.

  • The Main Service takes place at Buderim Mountain State School oval and is dedicated to honoring the local service men and women who served in Australia and her allies in various wars. Special guests, including State and Federal MPs, council representatives, local community groups, and schools, participate in the ceremony and wreaths as part of the service.

  • Join Us for a Community Morning Tea Straight After The Main Service

    The BWMCA is delighted to invite the community to a special morning tea. This gathering features a selection of home-baked treats prepared by our wonderful volunteer members, as well as contributions from our affiliate groups and generous local businesses, including Woolworths Metro Buderim, Simplee Sweet on Buderim, and the Buderim Tavern.

    This morning tea is held at the Buderim Memorial Community Hall - Cnr Main & Church Streets, Buderim
