Friends of Buderim 

The "Friends" are the major fund-raising sub-committee of the BWMCA with approximately 30 members.

This dedicated voluntary group whose oldest active member is aged 84, gives generously of their time and effort to help enrich the community in which they share a common bond.



This sub-committee of approximately 30 members, enjoy working together to raise funds for the BWMCA, and providing support for community activities such as Australia Day and Anzac Day are renowned for their excellent home cooking.



‘Friends’ have published two very successful cookbooks, ‘The Flavours of Buderim’ and ‘A Table in Buderim’.  


In its first two years ‘The Flavours of Buderim’ raised enough funds to install a new kitchen in the Buderim War Memorial Hall. 


Both of these very successful cookbooks can be purchased from the ‘Old Post Office Information Centre’ Buderim, various bookstores or online.
